Boston, MA — March 2026 — Foley, an AI-powered provider of compliance, hiring, and monitoring solutions for regulated fleets, announces Misha Sulpovar as its first Chief AI Officer.
Sulpovar brings nearly two decades of experience building and leading AI and product teams across industries, from labor markets and automotive platforms to enterprise HR, consumer AI, and real estate data intelligence. Most recently, he served as SVP and Head of AI at Cherre, where he built the company's AI Center of Excellence, launched Agent STUDIO, and was named a 2025 Innovator in Commercial Real Estate by the New York Real Estate Journal. Prior to Cherre, Sulpovar led consumer AI and machine learning at IBM's Weather Company, where he spearheaded a volunteer COVID-19 data tracking initiative that assembled hundreds of IBMers and delivered public tools in five days. He has also held product and AI leadership roles at ADP and Cox Enterprises.
Sulpovar is the author of The AI Executive's Handbook: Governing the Ungoverned Machine (Wired Cognition Publishing, 2025), a field guide for organizational leaders navigating AI adoption at scale. The book, developed over two years of research and hands-on implementation, introduces the "AI Control Plane" -- a governance framework for converting ungoverned AI usage into auditable, scalable systems without killing innovation. Sulpovar's approach at Foley will bring that experience and framework to deploy an AI native pattern of value creation within regulated and governed realities.
He holds an MBA from Emory University's Goizueta Business School, has taught AI product management, and is a frequent keynote speaker and podcast guest on AI strategy and organizational transformation.
“With Misha leading our AI strategy we’re accelerating the evolution of AI as a true intelligence layer within our platform, helping our customers make faster, smarter hiring and compliance decisions. At the same time, he’s helping us become an AI-native organization, where every team is augmented to move faster and deliver better outcomes for our customers. This is about fundamentally changing how work gets done, both in our product and inside Foley” said Joel Sitak, CEO.
As Chief AI Officer, Sulpovar will focus on:
AI-Native Organizational Transformation -- Building the capability model, architecture, and cross-functional operating rhythm that enables every business unit to work alongside AI systems
Knowledge and Decision Architecture -- Creating the identity, data, and intelligence layers that make institutional knowledge accessible at the point of decision
Governance and Enablement -- Establishing the AI Value Creation Office (VCO), a capability hub that owns architecture, governance, and the composable skills library that becomes Foley's AI roadmap
Growth Acceleration -- Deploying cross-functional tiger teams against measurable value-stream hypotheses, from top-of-funnel lead generation through customer fulfillment
"Most AI transformation energy goes to SaaS and fintech. The industries that power physical commerce -- where friction is measured in days, dollars, and compliance risk -- are where the real unlock lives. Foley has the strategy, the alignment, and the domain expertise to build something that doesn't exist yet: a true AI-native operating model adopted within a 30-year-old firm in a regulated industry," said Sulpovar.
