2018 Drug and Alcohol Testing Policy Addendum

Make sure your drug and alcohol policy is DOT compliant.

Beginning on January 1, 2018, the federally-mandated drug testing panel was expanded to include synthetic opioids. To comply with federal regulations, your workplace drug and alcohol policy must be updated to reflect the change.

To ease your transition into 2018, we’ve gone ahead and created an addendum that you can add to your current policy to ensure it’s up to date.  There is also a place for employees to sign their acknowledgement of the changes (an optional – but recommended step – by the DOT).
